RESULT
There are 3 project results:
R1: Digital resources and learning outcomes for SEN teachers
R2: Digi-Skills SEN online learning platform.
R3: Mobile application for educational and technical softwares
R1: Digital resources and learning outcomes for SEN teachers
Digital resources and learning outcomes for SEN teachers will consist of the following: - A digital learning curriculum for the acquisition of skills, knowledge and competence on using digital tools and methods to increase the quality of digital transformation in special education, - In line with the curriculum developed, development of learning content regarding the use of videos, infographics, podcasts, professional development blogs, wikis, engaging presentations, participatory spaces for students, digital portfolios, quizzes and data protection to be used by the SEN teachers. This result will extensively cover the development of digital skills and specific knowledge on the use of tools and methods for Special Education.
Objectives:
- Raise awareness on the use of digital tools and methods in special education,
- To boost motivation to utilize digital means to provide a quality and continuous learning environment for pupils with SEN,
- To enhance SEN teacher’s digital skills to allow for self-independent professional development
R2: Digi-Skills SEN online learning platform
“Digi-Skills SEN Online Learning Platform” will enable SEN teachers to learn the content of the WP2 through the curriculum designed in the same WP. The learning platform will include the following:
- The curriculum of digital resources and learning outcomes
- Learning content with visual instructions and tips
- Exercises with images (flashcards)
- Worksheets
- 6 Technical webinars with Experts for SEN School Teachers
Objectives:
- Boost motivation of SEN teachers to use online learning platforms for developing their digital skills
- Increase professional digital knowledge, competence and attitudes of SEN Teachers through hands-on learning.
- Raise awareness of SEN teachers to become self-learners. This online platform will be an extensive online tool to be used by SEN teachers, specialists and experts. No similar free online platform exists for the educational purposes of SEN teachers.
R3: Mobile application for educational and technical softwares
The Project Consortium will develop a free, accessible and up-to-date mobile application for SEN teachers that will allow them to develop their digital skills and grasp an understanding of strategic tools and methods available for special education. The WP4 will identify the needs and meet the needs of SEN teachers in an innovative and practical way.
Objectives:
- To leverage the knowledge of SEN teachers on online tools, methods to be used in special education.
- To boost the motivation of SEN teachers to utilize online tools and methods for their practices. This mobile application will be an extensive online resource for SEN teachers, specialists and experts. No similar application for SEN teachers exists in the market for educational purposes.
